AllCoNet 2 Objectives

• Expand broadband/wideband telecommunications services to attract high-tech bio-tech businesses
• Improve the telecommunications infrastructure of Allegany County to bridge the digital divide
• Form high-tech business incubators by providing bandwidth and educational services through the local colleges
• Provide a smooth transition from the business incubators to the industrial parks

• Seven node wireless implementation of a dual SONET ring (480 Mbps)
• Seven expansion nodes ranging from DS3 to OC12 Capacity
• 14 node 360 degree coverage for small business/residential access

• 85% coverage of the populated area
• 90% coverage of the business market
